Chiropractors after kidney transplant

HiTransplanted two years. Haven't had an attack of gout in ten years at least. Now have one. Had five visits to Chiropractor for neck. Now I'm wondering if this is a possible cause. My diet hasn't changed - don't drink. Transplant test 10 days ago all below normal. The chiropractor did tell me that toxins are released into blood stream after the adjustment. Anyone had experience. Thank you.

  • Hi. I don't have gout, but I do go to a chiropractor. I was told after a visit everyone should drink water, to flush the toxins from your body.
Did you check the side effects of your meds to see if gout could be set off from the drugs?
    Good luck. Be well.
    • Hi Nic<br/>
I spoke to the Chiropractor today as my blood tests showed I don't in fact have gout as my Uric acid levels are low. He said the toxic release can cause problems with joints. So looks like I have my answer. Thanks very much
