Pancreatitis post-transplant

Hey guys!I'm new to this site but not new to transplant. I am my husband's caregiver. He received his new heart on July 2, 2014 (I know, my profile mistakenly says June :/)Three nights ago he began to experience severe abdominal pain. Yesterday, on his way to work, he became really dizzy. It was so bad, he had to slowly make his way to my job and have me drive him to the local ER. Needless to say, they don't understand half of what our transplant hospital does, but our transplant hospital is several hours away. They treated him for vertigo and indigestion, and discharged us. He also had a low-grade temp (99.6)I contacted the transplant hospital while we were there to let them know what was going on. I also called this morning, and spoke to my DDs transplant coordinator. She seems to think, after talkimg with his transplant docs, that he could have pancreatitis, but is concerned with the dizziness and fever, that we could be looming at a possible early rejection. He is just sleeping all the time. I am worried and saddened. He has never had any complications, or any hospitalizations since the transplant.I'm sorry this post is so long, but I'm just lost and looking for anyone how may have had some of the same things going on.Thanks for listening,Paula
