I'm supposed to get a 2 for one deal I'm getting kidneys and pancreas.

I love all foods but anything homemade is at the top of my list.

I've been a type one diabetic my whole life. (Since I was 1 year old.) I don't really know how else to live and now I have to adjust to another life style please help me be okay with my decision. If I choose this.

I love to read and doodle eating and watching movies I love old school horror.

  • Oh, just to add, I was diagnosed with Type 1 in 1966 at the age of 2 and a bit. I received my Joslin 50 year medal last year despite the transplant.

  • Hi Alia. I'm a PAK - Pancreas after Kidney. My cousin gave me a kidney in '02 and I received a pancreas transplant in '08. Both organs (along with me) are doing well. Transplant can be a bumpy road, but it's worth it!

    Believe me, you are going to enjoy testing your blood sugar for fun. Taking a random test and having a perfectly normal number...no matter what or when you ate last....is a feeling I just can't describe. Pure joy!
